How do I book a party?

All parties must be booked online in advance and a deposit of €136 paid at the time of booking. The deposit is non-refundable.

The booking system does not hold provisional bookings.  We cannot take bookings over the phone.

At the time of booking your party you will be required to provide the number of children.  On the day of the party you will be charged the balance based on the number of children actually attending.

What are the minimum and maximum numbers for a party?

Minimum number of children for all parties is 8.  If less than 8 attend you will still be charged for 8 children.  Maximum numbers depend on availability.  Our party rooms can hold up to 25 children, so if you are booking for 25+ children or if you anticipate more than that number attending your party please contact us directly.  

What deposit is required and when is the balance due?

A deposit of €136 is required at the time of booking.  This is non-refundable.  If any additional children attend the party you will be requested to pay the balance, normally at the start of your party, and in any event before you are called to the party room.

Can I book a joint party?

Parties for more than 1 child can be booked in the normal way.  You will need to give the names and ages of both children. [Please note we cannot take separate payments, so it is up to you to split the bill!] Please also note that 1 balloon is included in the party package, so if you are holding a joint party you will need to request an additional balloon when making your booking.

What if I need to cancel my party?

The deposit is non-refundable.  We can arrange for your deposit to be held for a future date (within 3 months of the initial booking).

Are all children attending a party charged the full price regardless of age?

All children attending a party will be charged at the same party rate, regardless of age.  The birthday child is also included in the numbers.  Babies (under 1’s) are free of charge: they are not counted in the party numbers for food or party bags.

How many adults can attend a party?

We recommend a ratio of two adults for every 8-10 children (depending on age) attending to supervise and help serve food & drinks.  Please note that any additional adults must be booked in and entry charge paid.  The party rooms are designed for children: unfortunately we cannot guarantee to accommodate a large number of adults together, especially at peak times.

Can I book food & drinks for the adults?

Adult food can be booked as an additional option when you are booking your party. Drinks and other snacks can be purchased at the shop on the day, and you will be offered the option to run a “tab” at the shop.

What do I need to bring?

All you need to bring is a birthday cake, your cake knife and candles! We provide plates, cutlery, cups and napkins and your party food.
The party rooms are brightly decorated (not themed) and we ask customers not to pin or stick up decorations as they cause damage to the party room walls.
Please note for health & safety reasons we cannot allow any other food to be brought in.  Please don’t bring in party poppers, sparkler candles, nuts, popcorn, cans or glass. Latex balloons are not permitted anywhere in the centre as they are a choking hazard.

Can I bring my own food?

Other than your birthday cake, we do not permit food & drinks to be brought into the centre.    Party food is provided for the children and additional food options are available for adults.  These optional extras must be booked in advance, and on the day of your party we can run a “tab” for teas & coffees ordered from the shop.

Can we have extra time in the party room?

All party times are carefully scheduled, and half an hour in the party room is the maximum time allocated to each party.  We are unable to extend the duration of any party.

If my guests bring other brothers and sisters who pays?

Any children who are not invited / not attending your party must be booked in and paid for separately.  They will NOT be included in your party numbers for food or party bags etc.  There is a “no entry” policy for children and adults without a booking.

Can I come and view the party rooms before I book?

Yes of course!   The rooms are normally booked out at the weekends, so we recommend you visit on a weekday (Thursday or Friday).
