How do I book a party?

All parties must be booked online and a deposit of €50 must be paid (by card) at the time of booking. We cannot take bookings over the phone, but if you prefer to call in you will have access to the booking system in reception. Cash deposits can be taken at reception. The booking system does not hold provisional bookings.

At the time of booking your party please provide an approximate number of children.  On the day of the party you will be charged for the actual number of children attending.

What are the minimum and maximum numbers for a party?

Minimum number of children for all parties is 8.  If less than 8 attend you will still be charged for 8 children.  Maximum numbers depend on availability.  Our party rooms can hold up to 25 children, so if you are booking for 25+ children please contact us directly.  Either email to: bookings@tonsoffun.ie or phone in on 061 431141.

A €50 deposit is required to secure the booking. The deposit is non-refundable. The balance is due on the day of your party once we have counted the number of children attending. Full payment will be requested normally within half an hour of your party starting, and before you are called to the party room.

Parties for more than 1 child can be booked in the normal way, and a deposit of €50 taken.You will need to give the names and ages of both children.[Please note you will required to pay the balance in one payment, so if you are sharing a party with another family it is up to you to split the bill!] Please also note that 1 balloon is included in the party package, so if you are holding a joint party you will need to request an additional balloon when making your booking.

The deposit is non-refundable.  We can arrange for your deposit to be held for a future date (within 3 months of the initial booking).

All children attending a party will be charged the appropriate party rate, regardless of age. Babies (under 1’s) are free of charge: they are not counted in the party numbers for food or party bags.

We recommend a ratio of one adult for every 6-8 children (depending on age) attending to supervise and help serve food & drinks.If you are expecting a large number of adults please remember that the party rooms are designed for children only.  Unfortunately we cannot guarantee to seat large number of adults together, especially at peak times.

Adult food can be booked as an additional option when you are booking your party. Drinks and other snacks can be purchased at the shop on the day, and you will be offered the option to run a “tab” at the shop.

What do I need to bring?

What do I need to bring?

We provide plates, cutlery, cups and napkins and your party food. All you need to bring is a birthday cake, your cake knife and candles!
The party rooms are brightly decorated and we prefer that customers do not bring their own decorations as they cause damage to the party rooms walls.
Please note for health & safety reasons we cannot allow party poppers, sparkler candles, nuts, popcorn, cans or glass.  Latex balloons are not permitted anywhere in the centre as they are a choking hazard.

We provide party food for the children and additional food options for adults. Other than your birthday cake, we do not permit food to be brought into the centre. Optional food extras for adults can be booked in advance, and on the day of your party we can run a “tab” for teas & coffees ordered from the shop.

We offer our Premium party bags as an optional extra. If you prefer to bring your own you will be asked to leave them at reception to be given out after the party has finished. For health & safety reasons party bags cannot be given out inside the play centre.

Can we have extra time in the party room?

Half an hour in the party room is the maximum time allocated to each party.  We do not extend the duration of any party.

If my guests bring other brother s and sisters who pays?

Any siblings who are not invited / not attending your party must be booked in and paid for at reception separately.  They will NOT be included in your party numbers for food or party bags etc.

Can I come and view the party rooms before I book?

Can I come and view the party rooms before I book?

Yes of course! We can’t show the rooms when they are occupied so we recommend you visit on a weekday.
